Shaft mount speed reducers are a belt driven gearbox for heavy duty outdoor applications where seizure is a possible issue. Driven from a motor via belts, which are a sacrificial safety component, they are commonly used on outdoor conveyor head drums in the mining and quarrying industry. They have a tapered bush design for easy installation and removal.

Each gearbox includes:

• Output shaft spanner and torque arm kit with brackets
• Case hardened and ground gears
• Oversized bearings
• Easy to install backstops
